The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has released the final payment schedule for the 2025 calendar year. With the festive season fast approaching, beneficiaries are advised to note the earlier payment dates to plan their year-end expenses.

SRD (R370) Payment Dates

Beneficiaries of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant should expect payments to process between December 24 and December 30, 2025. SASSA reminds recipients that once the funds are approved and reflect in your account, there is no need to withdraw them immediately. The money will remain safe in your account.
