Job Description
- Loading customer vehicles, delivery trucks and transfer trucks promptly
- Ensuring that stock is properly stacked and counted
- Up keeping of tidiness and cleaning of area by sweeping and ensuring good housekeeping
- Assisting customers with excellent customer service and knowledge of goods
- Maintaining the operational vehicles in good condition
- Ensure operational procedures for operators are followed
- Reporting any problems and maintaining the record book
- Participate in perpetual stock takes
- Ensure housekeeping of work area
- Perform any work related tasks as delegated by superior
Requirements
- Matric or 3x Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits.
- Candidates with no matric but have an operator licence and have 1 year experience will be considered
- 1 year experience as an operator
- Valid Operator Licence
- Brights Induction (Service Excellence)
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to numerically count stock
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal)
- Ability to give excellent customer service and handle pressure
- Ability to operate machines safely and competently
- Building material product knowledge
