Job Description
- Complete minor repair work, including repairing of doors, frames and replacing light bulbs,sockets, switches and windows.
- Perfoming basic plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains and fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
- Conducting inspections on control panels and electrical wiring to detect issues and immediately repair .
- Promptly respond to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
- Povide support for internal and external audits.
- Participate in creating toolkits and training materials that will support building a steady skills pipeline.
- Inspect and arrange for repair of fixtures, sewer systems, fire extinguishing systems, mechanical equipment under the direction of the Technical Manager.
- Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste.
- Prepare financial and operational month-end reports.
- Submit feedback and progress updates to the Technical Manager.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Engineering N3
- General maintenance experience.
- Sound knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical wiring.
- The ability to safely operate hand and power tools
