Job Description
- Correct and safe loading, securing and offloading of Refurbishment and non-refurbishment materials at Warehouses and TEM workshop, Business Units and Suppliers (when required).
- Ensuring that the vehicle used for delivery are in a safe and roadworthy condition and at all times complying too all traffic rules and regulations.
- Taking care, custody and control of; vehicle, all assets and all relevant materials being transported.
- Accurate loading and offloading of required materials at the Warehouse, TEM workshop and SO sites with the demand
- Adhere to designated routes and timeous delivery
- Making use of Gate pass and relevant documentation to ensure confirmation of deliveries/collections.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly vehicle inspections, adhere to legislation and to traffic regulations
- Ensuring good general housekeeping practices (cleaning vehicles and distribution areas)
- Conduct and/or undergo; on the job training, SAP transactional training
- Ensure on time delivery and knowledgeable and effective use of applicable routes/off-loading Points
- Adherence to Plant Safety Requirements in terms of Permit Management and Compliance
- Adhere to log book and key control requirements at all times
Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 with English
- Code C/C1/EC1 License
- PrDP P, G or D where applicable
- Experience: 1+ relevant years
