Job Description
- Room Setup & Maintenance
- Set up meeting rooms according to booking requirements including seating layout, tables, chairs, and stationery.
- Ensure rooms are clean, dust-free, and sanitized before and after each meeting.
- Check and replenish supplies such as water, glasses, flipcharts, pens, and tissues.
- Client Service & Support
- Welcome meeting attendees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Respond to real-time requests during meetings with minimal disruption, such as extra water or stationery.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive meetings and materials.
- Housekeeping & Safety
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the Facilities team immediately.
- Adhere to Capitec’s health, safety, and hygiene protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Keep meeting room areas tidy and free of clutter throughout the day.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate preferred.
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or office support is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of AV equipment and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physically fit and able to move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
